Module evaluations

Most modules end with an evaluation. Passing it makes the module acquired, which is what counts in your progress, in the training status and for the certificate. The evaluation type is shown next to each module in the training timeline: Quiz, Self-assessment or Face to Face.

The evaluation card appears at the end of the module content, below the text. Scroll to the bottom of the module to find it.

Self-assessment

A self-assessment asks you to confirm that you have understood the module.

1. At the end of the module, read the card 🙌 You've reached the end! Did you learn all the following learning objectives? and the list of learning objectives.
2. If they are clear to you, click Yes, it's all clear to me!
3. The module is immediately acquired.

Once acquired, the button becomes Update acquisition date: clicking it confirms again and updates the date the module was acquired.

Quiz

A quiz is a series of multiple-choice questions. Several answers can be correct for one question.

Take the quiz

1. At the end of the module, the card reads 🙌 You've reached the end! Ready for the quiz? Click Start Quiz.
2. The quiz opens full screen, with the module and training titles, a Back to module link and a progress bar (Question 1/2, Question 2/2...).
3. For each question, click one or more answers (A, B, C...). Click again to unselect an answer.
4. Click Next to go to the next question (it's only enabled once you have selected at least one answer). Use Previous question to go back.
5. On the last question, click Validate answers.

To leave without submitting, click Back to module or the close button (Close evaluation) in the progress bar. A confirmation window warns Your answers will be lost.; click Yes, leave to go back to the module, or Cancel to continue.

Read your results

After validation, the results screen shows:

• ✅ Module acquired or 🔄 Module not acquired, with Check your results.
• Your score as a percentage (N% correct answers). Hover the information icon next to it to read the rule: The module is acquired when 100% of answers are correct.
• A breakdown into right answers, partially right answer (some but not all correct options chosen) and wrong answers.
• Corrected quiz: navigate through the questions with the question stepper (Go to question) or Previous question / Next question. Each question is tagged Right answer, Partially right or Wrong answer, and the options you selected are marked as correct or wrong. The correct answers you did not select are not revealed.

Then click:

• Back to module to return to the learning studio, or
• Retake quiz to start again with a blank quiz.

When you come back to a quiz you have already passed, the results screen is shown directly and the card in the module offers Retake Quiz. If you haven't passed it yet, the quiz starts again blank.

Face-to-face evaluation

A face-to-face evaluation is done with an expert (the reviewer of the training), who checks your answers in real time.

Before you start

The card at the end of the module reads 🙌 You've reached the end! Please notify your expert before starting the evaluation. with the reminder: "To successfully complete this module, your answers must be reviewed in real time by your expert." Make sure your expert is available (in person or on a call) before you start.

Steps

1. Click Start evaluation (or Continue evaluation if you had already started).
2. For each open question (Question 1/3...; the expert step counts as the last one), type your answer in Your answer and click Next. The Next button is only enabled once the answer is filled in. Use Previous question to go back.
3. The last step, Select your expert, shows Your reviewer: the expert who reviews this module ("Your answers will be reviewed by this expert. After validation, they receive a copy of this evaluation."). If there is none, the screen says No reviewer available for this training. and you cannot validate; contact the organisation.
4. With your expert, review your answers, then click Validate answers.
5. The confirmation Evaluation validated! appears: "Your reviewer has validated this module — it is now acquired." Click Back to module.

If you close the evaluation before validating, a confirmation warns If you leave now, your answers will be lost. Are you sure?

If you started without validating, the card reads 🙌 You've reached the end! Validate your evaluation to complete this module. with Continue evaluation.

Once acquired, the card reads ✅ Evaluation done, you have acquired this module! ("This module has been acquired, but you can still restart the evaluation.") and offers Restart evaluation if you want to go through it again.

How evaluations affect your progress

• Each acquired module increases the training's progress percentage.
• When all modules of the training are acquired, the training becomes Completed on your dashboard.
• If the training issues certificates automatically, your certificate is issued at that moment. See Certificates.

Common questions

I answered the quiz but the module is still not acquired.

You need 100% correct answers. Open the corrected quiz to see which questions were partially right or wrong, then click Retake quiz.

The error "Could not submit your quiz. Please try again." appears.

Check your connection and click Validate answers again. Your selections stay on screen as long as you don't leave the page.

The face-to-face evaluation won't validate.

Make sure every question has an answer and that a reviewer is shown on the last step. The message "Could not validate — make sure every question is answered, then try again." means an answer is missing.

Can I retake an evaluation after the module is acquired?

Yes: Retake Quiz, Restart evaluation or Update acquisition date are always available.
