The SWP dashboard
The Strategic Workforce Planning dashboard: company-wide figures (total roles, filled, to hire, filled rate), plan cards, statuses and search.
Open SWP in the Apps section of the navigation menu to reach the Strategic Workforce Planning dashboard ("Define your target organization, track how each part is staffed, and anticipate upcoming openings across the company."). It summarises staffing across the plans you can see and lists one card per plan.
Company figures
Four tiles at the top of the page:

| Total roles | Target structure | Sum of the target headcounts. |
| Filled | Current situation | Number of people currently in those units. |
| To hire | Open positions | Positions still to fill (units above their target don't reduce this number). |
| Filled rate | Of target structure | Filled positions within target, as a percentage of total roles. People above a unit's target are not counted, so this rate never exceeds 100%. |
Note: These figures only include plans that have both a target and at least one member. They cover the plans you have access to: all plans for admins, your own units for managers.
Plan cards
Each card shows one plan (one value of the primary unit, for example a department):
- The unit name and its status tag:

| Not configured | No target headcount set yet (the card says No target headcount set yet.). |
| Active | The plan applies now. |
| Upcoming | The plan opens later; the card shows Launch |
- For configured plans, a progress bar with the filled percentage (red up to 30%, orange up to 70%, green above; red also when over-staffed).
- Tags: the plan's target (N members; 0 members while not configured), N filled, and either N to hire or N over target. The percentage on the card is filled / target and can exceed 100% when the plan is over-staffed.
- The last update date (Updated
or Never updated). For an Upcoming plan, the opening date (Launch ) is shown instead. - A button: See more opens the plan details; Configure (for not-configured plans) opens the target window (see Set targets for a plan).
Search
Use Search a role, person… to filter the cards by unit name (for example a department name). Despite the placeholder, the search only matches plan names, not people: to find a person, open a plan and use the search of its List of members tab. If nothing matches, the page shows Nothing to show for now ("Oops, we didn't find any results matching your search.").
Admin actions
Admins also see, next to the search bar:
- Configuration: change the primary and secondary units (Configure workforce planning).
- The ⋮ menu with Export workforce planning (Export workforce planning).
Common questions
I see "Set up your workforce planning" instead of plans.
No configuration exists yet. An admin must click Configure your structure.
As a manager, I only see one or two plans.
Managers see the plans of the units they belong to on their own profile. Admins see every plan.
I see "No workforce plans yet".
The configuration exists but no plan is visible to you, for example because your profile isn't attached to any value of the primary unit.
