Interview notifications and emails

Every email, in-app and push notification sent by the OpenAleph Interview module, who receives it and what triggers it.

Who can do thisEmployeeManagerManager creatorAdmin

The Interview module notifies people at each key step of a campaign. Most notifications are sent three ways: by email, in the in-app notification centre, and as a push notification on the mobile app (tapping it opens the related interview or list). Emails are sent in the recipient's interface language (set in their profile). For the notification centre and push settings in general, see Notifications.

Invitations and reminders are manual

Apart from the launch invitations, OpenAleph does not send automatic reminders before the deadline. Send them yourself:

  • For the whole campaign or a selection: campaign page › Participants & answers › Send notifications › Send invitation email or Send reminder email. The email goes to the selected participants and their persons in charge, only for parts not submitted yet.
  • For one participant: the row ⋯ menu in the campaign, or the card menu in Team Interviews.
  • For everyone from the list: Interview › Campaigns › row ⋯ › Send email to participants (invitation).

Common questions

A participant says they received nothing at launch.

You may have answered No in Send invitation emails?. Send the invitation from the campaign page. Also check their email address and spam folder.

Why did the interviewer not get "ready for the Cross review"?

It is sent only on Cross Review templates, when the interviewee submits after the interviewer. If the interviewer submits last, no email is sent: the cross review simply opens on their card in Team Interviews.

Can people unsubscribe from interview emails?

Interview emails are operational and tied to actions in the campaign. Push notifications can be managed in the phone's settings.
