Follow a module

A module is a single learning page with an evaluation at the end. This page explains what you see on a module page and how you interact with it. The evaluation itself, which makes the module Acquired, is completed inside a training: see Follow a training and Evaluations and quizzes.

Open a module

Click a module card anywhere in Learn: the Catalog, My Learning, Favorites, a playlist, or a link someone shared with you. The module page opens.

Details

Under the title you see the description, the cover image, the author (By ..., or Multiple authors when the module has co-authors), the Duration, the Updated at date, the number of reactions (or No reaction) and the module's themes. Once you have acquired the module, Acquired on shows the date.

Content

The Content section holds the lesson itself: text, headings, lists, images, tables, embedded YouTube videos, quotes and code blocks.

Audio narration

If the creator added an audio narration, a play button lets you open an audio player at the bottom of the page. You can listen while you read, pause and seek.

"This module has just been updated !"

If the creator publishes a new version while you are reading, a banner offers Reload this page to see the latest version.

Where the evaluation happens

In a training, the end of the module shows its evaluation block ("🙌 You've reached the end! ..."): a self-assessment, a quiz or a face-to-face evaluation. Completing it marks the module as Acquired, and a window Module acquired! congratulates you with Close and Next module (or Continue on the last module). Acquisition is per module: a module you acquired in one training is acquired everywhere, including on its catalog page.

React and share feedback

At the bottom of the module, the block What did you think of the module? lets you give feedback:

1. Click Share Your Feedback🙌.
2. In Share your feedback, pick one reaction: Engaging course, Useful in my work, A bit boring, Difficult to understand or Needs an update.
3. Optionally write a message in Want to add something ? (up to 400 characters).
4. Click Submit feedback. A message confirms "Feedback was submitted."

Your reaction is counted on the module ("1 reaction") and helps creators improve their content (they see reactions in My content analytics). Your written message is posted in the module's comments, with your reaction label. To change your reaction later, reopen Share Your Feedback🙌: the button in the window then reads Edit feedback.

Comments

Click Add comment (or the comments icon in the top bar) to open Comments. You can:

• Type in Add a comment and send it: it is visible to everyone who opens the module.
• Reply to a comment to start a thread.
• Delete your own comment (Delete comment, then confirm; this is permanent).

The module creator receives an email for each new comment ("... commented the module ..."), and people in a thread are notified of new replies. If the creator is no longer active, the creators of the trainings containing the module are notified instead. A message written in the feedback window doesn't send this email.

Common questions

I read everything but the module is not acquired.

Reading isn't enough: you must complete the evaluation, and evaluations are only available inside a training. Open the module from your assigned training in My Learning and scroll to the end of the module.

The module I opened from the catalog has no quiz.

That's expected: the catalog is for reading. The evaluation appears when you follow the module inside a training you are enrolled in.

The creator changed the evaluation type. Do I lose my acquisition?

No. Anyone who already acquired the module keeps their status.

Why is the language button missing?

The module exists in only one language. Translations are added by the creator.
