The module editor and evaluations
Write module content with the rich-text editor (headings, lists, images, videos, tables) and build the evaluation - self-assessment, quiz or face-to-face.
The right panel of the module editor has two segments: Content, where you write the lesson, and Evaluation, where you define how learners acquire the module. Everything is saved automatically as you type.
Write the content
Click Content. The editor is a free page ("Type / to browse options"): click anywhere and start typing.
Insert blocks with "/"
Type / at the start of a line to open the block menu, then type to filter and press Enter or click:

Format text
Select text to format it: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, highlight, text colour, links and alignment. Usual shortcuts work (Ctrl/Cmd+B, Ctrl/Cmd+I, Ctrl/Cmd+U).
Images
The Image block offers three sources:
- Upload a file from your computer,
- Embed link: paste an image URL and click Embed image,
- Unsplash: Search for an image in the free Unsplash library and click one.
Audio narration
If you generated an audio narration (see AI features), a player appears under the content. Its menu lets you Delete audio ("This action will permanently remove this audio from your module.").
Collaborative editing
If a co-author or another editor changes the module at the same time, a banner "This module has just been updated !" offers Reload this page to get the latest version.
Build the evaluation
Click Evaluation. If no evaluation exists yet, the segment reads Choose your evaluation type ("Choose the evaluation type to start creating the evaluation."). Click Create evaluation, choose a type in the window Create Evaluation and click Continue:

A module has exactly one active evaluation. The Evaluation type selector at the top of the segment shows it (Self-assessment, Quiz or Face-to-face) and lets you switch.
Tip: Generate with AI creates the evaluation from your content (objectives, quiz questions or open questions). Review the result before publishing. See AI features.
Self-assessment
Fill in Learning objectives* (required): the list of what the learner should now know. Learners see it at the end of the module and confirm with Yes, it's all clear to me!.
Quiz
Each question is a block with:
- Question: the question text.
- Answer options (use checkbox for right answers): fields Option A, Option B... Type each option and tick the checkbox next to every correct one. A question can have several correct options. Use Add answer option to add one; two identical options are flagged "This option is identical to another option".
The icons at the top right of a block move the question up or down, duplicate it or delete it. Click Add under a block to insert a new question. Learners must tick exactly the correct options of every question to reach 100%.
Face-to-face evaluation
Each block is an open question with a Question and an optional Description (guidance for the learner and the expert). Use Add to add questions and the block icons to move, duplicate or delete them. Learners type their answers, choose an expert and submit; the expert receives a link to the evaluation PDF by email.
Change the evaluation type
Select another type in Evaluation type. If the module is already published, confirm Change evaluation type?: "Learners will now be evaluated with the new type. Anyone who already completed this module keeps their completion status." Click Yes, change (or Cancel). The previous evaluation's questions are kept if you switch back. The change reaches learners when you click Update.
Evaluations in other languages
The evaluation is written in the primary language. When you translate the module and tick Translate evaluation, the questions are translated too; you can then review them by switching the Language selector (for example English (Primary) / French). Creating a new evaluation with AI is only possible in the primary language.
Remember that learners take the evaluation inside trainings only: add the module to a training so it can be acquired.
Common questions
How do I add a video that isn't on YouTube?
Only YouTube embeds are supported in the editor. You can add a link to another platform in the text.
My text disappeared after I closed the tab.
Content is saved automatically a moment after you stop typing. Wait for Saved in the top bar before closing.
Can I have a quiz and a self-assessment in the same module?
No, one evaluation per module. Split the content into two modules if you need both.
