Interview roles and permissions
Who can see and do what in the OpenAleph Interview module - menus, templates, campaigns, answers visibility, locking and AI, by access level.
What you can do in the Interview module depends on your access level (set by your admin in your profile, see Access levels) and on your role in each campaign (participant, person in charge, creator, co-pilot). For an overview of access levels across all modules, see Roles and access.

The whole module is visible only if your company has the Interview module enabled.

Campaign creators and co-pilots who are not admins also see the Unlock ... and Submit ... options in a participant's menu, but the action is refused ("Error unlocking interview."). Scoped admins are described in Scoped admins.
Who can read which part of an interview

Within each part, questions only appear to the roles they are visible for in the template.
Important: The submitted cross review shows, for each question, the interviewee's answer, the interviewer's answer and the final cross review answer. So with a Cross Review template, the interviewee reads the interviewer's answers once the cross review is submitted. Use an Interviewer (IR) or Both template if the interviewer's assessment must stay private.
Answering and submitting
- Only the respondent of a part can answer and submit it: the interviewee for IE, the person in charge for IR and CR.
- A cross review can be answered only once it is open (both IE and IR submitted).
- A submitted part can no longer be modified by anyone until an admin unlocks it.
AI synthesis
Managers and above can generate the synthesis of a submitted interview they can read, except their own interview as interviewee. See AI features.
Common questions
I'm a manager but I can't create campaigns.
Creating campaigns requires the Manager creator access level. Ask an admin to change your access level.
As an admin, why can't I read an interview in progress?
Admins, co-pilots and upper managers can read a part only once it is submitted, to respect the respondent's draft.
