Feedback 360
Feedback 360 lets your company collect feedback about an employee from colleagues, their manager, their team and themselves, through campaigns built on templates.
Feedback 360 is the OpenAleph module for collecting feedback about a person from the people who work with them: peers, their manager, their direct reports and, if you want, the person themselves (self-review). HR or a manager creator launches a campaign, chooses who is reviewed, and each reviewed person gets a set of reviewers who answer a questionnaire about them. The answers are then gathered on one page per reviewed person, with a PDF export and an AI-generated synthesis.
In the app, the module appears in the left navigation menu as Feedback. Employees and managers see a single entry, Dashboard; manager creators, scoped admins and admins also see Campaigns and Templates.
Note: Feedback 360 is licensed per company. If you don't see Feedback in the navigation menu, your company may not have the module enabled; ask your admin (see Modules and licences). One-to-one interviews and surveys are separate modules, documented in Interviews & 1:1 and Surveys.
Key concepts
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Campaign | A Feedback 360 exercise with a title, a period (start date and Deadline), a list of participants and one or more templates. |
| Participant / reviewee | A person the campaign collects feedback about. In the app, participants selected in a campaign are "set as reviewees". |
| Reviewer | A person asked to give feedback about a reviewee. Each reviewer fills in their own form (a "review") for each reviewee they were assigned to. |
| Self-review | The reviewee's own review of themselves, created automatically when the campaign option Participants have to self-evaluate is on. |
| Person in charge | The person who follows one reviewee's feedback: chooses and manages their reviewers, sends reminders and reads all the answers. By default it is the reviewee's direct manager, or one specific person for the whole campaign. |
| Template | A reusable questionnaire (chapters, paragraphs, open questions, ratings, multi-choice questions) stored in Feedback › Templates. |
| Co-pilot | A person added to a campaign to help its creator follow and manage it. |
| Campaign owner | The person who created the campaign. |
Who does what
| Role | What they can do in Feedback 360 |
|---|---|
| Employee | Sees Feedback › Dashboard: answers the reviews they were asked to write, answers their self-review, chooses their own reviewers if the campaign allows it, reads the feedback about them if the campaign allows it, and follows the reviewees they are person in charge of. |
| Manager | Same as an employee. In addition, can read the submitted feedback about the people who report to them (directly or further down the reporting line). A manager can be a person in charge and a co-pilot (read-only on the campaign). |
| Manager creator | Everything above, plus Feedback › Campaigns and Feedback › Templates: creates templates and campaigns, and fully manages the campaigns they own or co-pilot. |
| Scoped admin | Like a manager creator, and also sees and manages campaigns created by people in their population, and the feedback about people in their population. |
| Admin / Super admin | Sees and manages every Feedback 360 campaign and template of the company, and can read all submitted feedback. |
Detailed rules about who reads which answers are in Anonymity and privacy. For access levels across all modules, see Roles and access and Access levels. Managers and reporting lines come from each member's profile (see Employee profile and Org chart).
Typical workflow
- Prepare a template. A manager creator or admin creates a questionnaire in Feedback › Templates (or duplicates an existing one). See Templates.
- Create the campaign. In Feedback › Campaigns, click New campaign and follow the five-step wizard: Basic settings, Participants, Person in charge, Template(s), Summary. See Create a campaign.
- Launch. Click Launch campaign and choose whether to send invitation emails. A campaign whose start date is in the future is scheduled and starts automatically on that date.
- Choose reviewers. Reviewers are picked automatically (option Assign reviewers randomly), by the person in charge, or by the reviewee themselves if the campaign allows it. See Choose reviewers.
- Answer. Each reviewer opens Feedback › Dashboard › I am a reviewer, answers the form about each reviewee and clicks Submit. See Answer a feedback.
- Follow up. The campaign owner and co-pilots track completion on the campaign page and send reminders; persons in charge do the same from their dashboard. See Manage a campaign.
- Read the results. The person in charge, the reviewee's managers and admins (and the reviewee, if allowed) read all the answers on the reviewee's page, download a PDF and generate an AI synthesis. See Results and reports.

Web and mobile
Feedback 360 is used in the OpenAleph web app. All pages adapt to small screens, so reviewers can answer from a phone browser: the Submit button then stays at the bottom of the screen. Creating templates and campaigns is easier on a computer. For what the mobile app offers, see Mobile app.
