Aleph AI assistant
Where Aleph AI is available in OpenAleph (Ask AlephAI button, syntheses, campaign chat, Learn content, training chat, skills reviews), who can use it and its limits.
Aleph AI is the AI assistant built into OpenAleph. It isn't a general chatbot available everywhere: it appears on specific pages where it helps with a precise task, such as summarising an interview, answering questions about a campaign, writing a Learn module or guiding a learner through a training. Aleph AI is in Beta: always review what it produces.
The Ask AlephAI button
The Ask AlephAI button sits in the top bar, next to your avatar.
- On a page that supports AI, click it to open the Aleph AI panel on the right of the screen. Click it again (or the close icon of the panel) to close it.
- On other pages the button is greyed out and shows "This page doesn’t support AI yet."
- On some pages the button is only active once there is something to analyse (for example after an interview has been submitted, or once a campaign has been launched).
Each panel shows the reminder "Aleph AI can make mistakes."
Where Aleph AI is available

Other AI features are built into specific modules, for example translating templates or modules and generating audio summaries of Learn modules. They are described in the module documentation.
Note: some AI features may not be enabled on every page yet, or may depend on your company's modules. If you don't see an AI option described here, the page or your role may not support it.
Good practices
- Check before you use. Aleph AI summarises and suggests: it can misread an answer or miss a nuance. Read syntheses before sharing them, and edit generated content before publishing it.
- Stay within your rights. Aleph AI only works on data you are already allowed to see on the page. It doesn't give access to other people's interviews or results.
- Be specific. In chats, ask precise questions ("What are the most frequent training needs mentioned?") rather than broad ones.
If something goes wrong
If Aleph AI fails, the panel shows "Oops a problem occured... Please try again later!". Wait a moment and try again (for example with Regenerate or by sending your question again). If the problem persists, contact support. See Troubleshooting and help.
Common questions
The Ask AlephAI button is greyed out.
The page you are on doesn't support AI, or there is nothing to analyse yet (an interview not submitted, a campaign not launched). Hover over the button to see the reason.
Why can't I generate a synthesis of my own interview?
The interview synthesis is meant for the interviewer and the people managing the campaign. If you are only the interviewee, it isn't offered to you. It also requires the interview to be submitted.
Is Aleph AI available on the mobile app?
The Aleph AI panels and chats described here are only in the web app. On the mobile app, you can listen to a Learn module's audio summary when one is available.
Does Aleph AI change my data?
No, not on its own. It shows suggestions and syntheses. Content is only added to a module when you click Insert, and skills review answers are only pre-filled when you click Apply my note. You can still review and change them before submitting.
