When you are asked to give feedback about a colleague, or to review yourself, you fill in a form based on the campaign's questionnaire. This page explains how to find the form, answer it and submit it.

Find the form

You can open a form from:

  • the email "[Name] would like your feedback" or "A reminder about your feedback for ...", with the Give my feedback button;
  • the in-app notification Feedback to give;
  • the Next up! section of the home page;
  • Feedback › Dashboard, tab As participant:
    • switch I am a reviewer, click the campaign card, then the person's name in Give your feedback to:;
    • switch I am reviewed for your own Self-review: click the campaign card while your self-review is pending.

The form page

The top of the page shows the campaign Deadline, the Reviewee (the person the feedback is about) and the Reviewer (you), then the questionnaire title, its description and its questions, organised in chapters. For a self-review, you appear as both reviewee and reviewer.

The top bar shows a save status and several buttons:

Element Use
Status tag Saving..., Saved or Not saved. Your answers are saved automatically as you type or click.
Translate interview Shown if the questionnaire exists in several languages: choose the language you want to read it in.
Last events History of the review (started, submitted, reopened), with who did it and when.
Summary The list of chapters: click one to jump to it.
Download pdf Downloads a PDF of this review.
Submit Sends your answers (see below). On a phone, the Submit button is at the bottom of the screen.

Answer the questions

Question type How to answer
Open question Type your answer in the text area.
Rating Click an icon on the scale (for example 1 to 5).
Multi-choice / True/False Select one option.

If the question allows comments, a Comment field appears under it to explain your answer. Questions marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Chapter titles and paragraphs are information only.

You can leave the page at any time: your answers are kept and the review shows as In progress. Come back later from the dashboard to finish it.

Submit

  1. Click Submit.
  2. If a required question is empty, the page scrolls to it, highlights it and shows "Please answer all required questions (*)". Answer it and click Submit again.
  3. Confirm with Submit in Submit your answers? (or Cancel). The message reminds you: "Once submitted, your answers can no longer be edited."
  4. "Your answers have been submitted." You are taken back to the previous page (for example your Feedback dashboard). If you opened the form from a direct link, you stay on it and it shows Submitted.

After submission:

  • your review shows as Submitted / Done on your dashboard;
  • the reviewee's person in charge receives an email and a notification "[Your name] has given their feedback" (also for a self-review);
  • if the campaign lets reviewees read their reviewers' answers, the reviewee is notified too (this is not the case for a self-review);
  • the form is read-only: you can still open it to read your answers and download the PDF.

Your self-review

If the campaign asks reviewees to self-evaluate, you answer the same questionnaire about yourself. It appears as Self-review on your card under I am reviewed. It works exactly like any other review. Your self-review is always visible to you, and to the people allowed to read your feedback (your person in charge, your managers, the campaign managers and admins). It is identified as yours in the AI synthesis so it can be compared with your reviewers' answers.

Who will read your answers

Your answers are not anonymous. They are shown with your name to:

  • the reviewee's person in charge;
  • the reviewee's managers (direct or higher up);
  • the campaign owner and co-pilots, and admins (scoped admins for people in their population);
  • the reviewee, only if the campaign option Participants can view reviewers answers is on.

Other reviewers never see your answers. Answers are only visible to others once you have submitted. See Anonymity and privacy.

Common questions

I made a mistake after submitting. Can I change my answers?

Not by yourself. Ask the campaign owner or an admin to Reopen your review; you can then edit and submit it again.

The page says "This review can no longer be answered."

The campaign has been deleted, has not started yet, or you have been removed as a reviewer. Reviews can only be answered while the campaign is running.

Can I still answer after the deadline?

The deadline is the date by which you are asked to answer. Once it has passed, the review no longer appears in Next up! on the home page, but it stays on your Feedback dashboard. Ask the campaign owner if you are late; they can also extend the deadline.

The status says "Not saved".

Your last change could not be saved (connection problem or the review is no longer open). Check your connection and reload the page before continuing.

I don't find the review mentioned in the email.

Open Feedback › Dashboard, tab As participant, switch I am a reviewer, and clear any search. If it isn't there, you may have been removed as a reviewer or the campaign may have been deleted.
