Goals dashboard
Get a company-wide view of all goals in Goals › Dashboard with KPIs, filters, a table view and a Kanban board by status.
The Goals Dashboard is the admin view of every active goal in the company (or, for scoped admins, of their population). It shows four key figures, a filterable table, and a Kanban board where you can move goals from one status to another by drag and drop.
Before you start
- The Dashboard is available to Scoped admins, Admins and Super admins.
- Scoped admins only see goals of the employees in their population (see Scoped admins and perimeters). Admins see the whole company.
- Deleted goals are not included.
Open the dashboard
In the sidebar, go to Goals › Dashboard. The page reads "A company-wide view of all goals."
Key figures
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Total goals | All active (not deleted) goals you can see. |
| Achieved goals | Goals whose indicator has reached its goal value. |
| Due this month | Goals whose deadline is in the current calendar month. |
| Active members | The number of different employees who have at least one goal. |
Note: "Achieved" is based on the indicator value, not on the workflow status. A goal moved to "Completed" without reaching its goal value isn't counted as achieved.
Table view
The Table view lists goals with these columns: Goal, Member (the assignee), Responsible, Deadline, Progress (the completion tag) and Status. Click a row to open the goal (the back button reads Back to dashboard).
- Search a goal filters by title.
- Filters let you narrow the list by the employee's Access level, Gender, Manager, your company's custom profile fields (see People attributes), and the goal Status.
- The list shows 10 goals per page.
Kanban view
- Switch the view selector from Table to Kanban.
- The board shows one column per status, in the order defined in Goal statuses, plus a first No status column. Each column shows its number of goals.
- Each card shows the goal title, its progress tag, the assignee and the deadline ("No deadline" if missing).
- Drag a card to another column to change the goal's status. The change is saved immediately and logged in the goal's history. Empty columns show "Drop goals here".
- Click a card to open the goal.
Search and filters apply to the Kanban board too. If a column fails to load, it shows "Loading failed." with a Retry button.
The view you choose is kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share the Kanban view.
Create a goal from the dashboard
If you can create goals, a New Goal button is available at the top of the dashboard. From here you choose a single assignee; the responsible is optional (the assignee's direct manager is used if you leave it empty). See Create a goal.
Common questions
I don't see Dashboard in the Goals menu.
The Dashboard is reserved for scoped admins and admins.
Why does Achieved goals not match the number of goals in my Completed column?
The Achieved goals figure counts goals whose indicator reached the goal value. The Kanban columns are based on the workflow status, which people set manually.
Can I export the dashboard?
There is no export from the Goals dashboard.
A goal I dragged went back to its original column.
The change couldn't be saved (for example a network problem or missing rights). Refresh the page and try again.
